Life – a cycle of unmet expectations

Life often feels like a storm,
tossing us between moments of light and endless shadows.
People come and go, each wearing a mask,
playing their part in the script of give and take.
But among it all, what remains?
A hollow exchange, a cycle of unmet expectations.

I stand here, shattered,
pieces of myself scattered across this journey.
The reasons are too many,
or perhaps none at all,
just the weight of being human in a world
that rarely sees the soul behind the face.

But let me tell you this,
life isn’t just what we lose,
it’s also what we choose.
Even in the wreckage, there’s a whisper of hope,
a faint light calling us to pause, to breathe, to look within.

True existence isn’t found in other’s approval,
nor in fulfilling the endless demands of this world.
It’s in embracing the self you’ve forgotten,
the one who deserves love without condition,
the one who can still stand tall in the quiet of the storm.

To anyone walking this path of pain, you are not alone. We are all searching for something more, aching for meaning in a world that often feels cruel and cold.

Let’s remember…
even the most broken hearts can beat again,
even the darkest nights must give way to dawn. And though the path ahead feels uncertain, trust that your steps, however small,
are leading you closer to the peace
your soul has always deserved.
