With nothing left to call my own,
No wealth, no treasure, no throne,
Only our love remains to me,
A precious blessing that sets me free.

For though the world may take & steal
And leave me with an empty feel,
Our love endures, unbroken still,
A light that guides me up the hill.

So, I hold onto this one true thing,
The love that makes my heart sing,
Though all else may fade away,
Our love will never go astray.
