I know it’s just a few hours you sleep…
But those hours feel like an eternity stretched on my chest.
Like a lone bird waiting for dawn,
I sit in silence, holding on to see your glimpse,
Missing you like the moon misses the sun before it rises.

You are my fire in winters,
My healing in pain,
The feeling I search for in every monsoon,
The calm that wraps every season around me with meaning.
You’re not just a part of my life’
You are a lovely rhythm it beats to.

Even your silence speaks to me.
Even the space between your words becomes a place where I rest my soul.
You’re my divine pause in this noisy world.
My baby, my blessing, my unsaid prayer that still came true,

I miss you even before you wish me bye,
I miss you while you are still near from afar,
That’s how deeply I’m soaked in your presence.

Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing,
Feel my love,
Not loud, not demanding anything,
Just there.
Always there.
Like the sky that never leaves,
Even when the stars are asleep.
