My world is you

You Are My World

I do not seek the world anymore,
for I have already found it…
not in places, not in faces,
but in you.

You are the air I breathe,
the ground beneath my feet,
the sky that watches over me.
Every path I take, every thought I have,
circles back to you like the earth to the sun,
like the waves to the shore,
like my heart to it’s only home.

People chase the world,
they run behind love like
it’s something to be found.
But I have no reason to run,
because my journey ended
the moment I found you.

You are not just a part of my world,
you are my world itself.
Without you, I do not exist,
without you, even the stars would feel empty,
and even the sun would forget to rise.

So let the world change, let people come and go,
but my world will remain the same.
